Green Lifestyle Pavilion at the Burghley Horse Trials – Stamford - 30th August to 2nd September 2012

PEA Pod Arena at The London Green Fair – Royal Regent’s Park – 9th and 10th June 2012
King Lion Media – founders of the prestigious PEA (People & Environment Achievement) Business Awards & PEA Awards - are delighted to be hosting a PEA Pod Arena at the London Green Fair, Royal Regent’s Park, in June 2012. This is the longest running, highest profile, green family festival in London, entirely powered by wind, hydrogen and solar energy, and will have in excess of 25,000 visitors over the two days.
Our PEA Pod Arena will feature music by The Phoenix Rose, Britain’s greenest band, a platform for celebrity speakers on the latest thinking surrounding green issues and exhibitor stands for the country’s greenest and ethical companies to showcase their products and services alongside us.

People and Environment Achievement Awards in association with The Co-operative
For the second year running the People and Environment Achievement Awards in association with The Co-operative honoured green hero’s who have demonstrated the importance of sustainability. We celebrated everything form raising awareness to travelling responsibly and proving best practice to creating technologies, designing products and services and developing specific campaigns. We wanted to recognise the achievements of many more of the countless people who are doing something positive to make a real difference to the communities and the planet.

The People and Environment Achievement Business Awards in association with Lloyds TSB Commercial have been launched to celebrate how sustainability initiatives can be good for business as well as the planet. The new Awards highlight excellence and innovation as demonstrated by an individual or team (within an organisation of any shape or size, public or private) whose contribution to the ‘greening’ of the UK businesses has been genuinely effective.
The Awards recognised exceptional leadership and vision as well as best practice and key strategies that inspire others in the future. Pea Talks is a brand new series of inspiring green networking events with experienced environmental speakers and pioneering green achievers talking about what makes them green and their own unique, personal contributions to environmental issues. After each talk, there will be the chance to discuss and debate the issues, engaging with a variety of different perspectives in an informal, relaxed atmosphere. The evenings consist of short talks, an open discussion, delicious food and drink served by the National Geographic Cafe, plenty of time to mingle, meet the speakers and fellow attendees and listen to live music from Britain’s greenest bands including The Phoenix Rose and Guests. The venue is the impressive National Geographic Store in London.
