Nominations Open for PEA Awards 2012
Global warming and the depletion of natural resources are among the biggest challenges facing our world today. To avoid the worst-case scenarios we need to take urgent action. Governments and big business will hopefully take vital steps towards safeguarding the environment. In the meantime individuals already making a difference can be our inspiration.
The PEA Awards in association with The Co-operative reflects a desire to recognise these people and celebrate their contributions to the green agenda.

The PEA Awards will be judged by a panel of key green individuals in the public eye, including: Tony Juniper, editor, Green Magazine; Rebecca Hill, international marketing director, National Geographic magazine; Josephine Fairley, co-founder of Green & Black’s; Leo Johnson, head of sustainability, PwC, Richard Hammond, founder of greentraveller.co.uk and Jo Wood, founder, Jo Wood Organics.
The panel will draw up a shortlist of finalists who will be invited to attend a prize ceremony in London on Wednesday 21st March 2012.
