Don't miss this September's worldwide rally demanding solutions for the climate crisis

Moving Planet Day is a single day to encourage the world's leaders to move away from fossil fuels and get moving on the climate crisis.

A whole host of organisations, including 350.org are working together to make Moving Planet Day on 24 September 2011 a success.

The aims of the event include:

 

• Encouraging science-based policies to get us back to 350ppm
• A rapid and just transition to zero carbon emissions
• Mobilising funding for a fair transition to a 350ppm world
• Lifting the rights of people over the rights of polluters
