The Campaign Against Climate Change (CampaignCC) protested with red tape outside the Department of Business today to defend climate change legislation.

CampaignCC says the government is defining the Climate Act, which protects the greatest threat facing humanity as 'red tape.'

The campaigners also say a host of other environmental legislation like the Wildlife and Countryside Act may potentially be 'thrown on the deregulation bonfire.'
