Get involved this weekend with the Big Garden Birdwatch
At least half a million people are expected to be watching more garden birds than ever before this weekend for the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch.
The RSPB want to find out how the coldest December since records began has affected London's birds numbers but they need our help to do it.
The low temperatures we've experienced over the past few months have already led to more birds than usual and less common birds like waxwings and redwings have already been spotted.

"People in the UK have been united this winter in their wish to try and help garden birds. The cold weather began quite early, and this would have been when natural food sources became scarce. Birds that wouldn't usually be found in gardens had to adapt their behaviour. By now, these birds could have been making the most of our hospitality for over a month," explains RSPB Conservation Director, Dr Mark Avery.
People from all walks of life and with all types of outdoor spaces are being asked to take part from boats and old people's homes to nurseries and prisons.
