Nominations for PEA Awards still open
The People and Environment Achievement Awards wish to celebrate everything from raising awareness and travelling responsibly to creating ethical technologies and sustainability in sport.

The event hosted by Evergreen Events and in association with National Geographic Green will be a glamorous green carpet event at the National Geographic Store, Regent Street to award those that have worked hard to create a more ethical world. It is taking place on Wednesday 2nd March at 7pm.
You can nominate friends, family or even yourself for an award until Friday 14th January and nominating is completely free.
The Awards:
Best Energy Saving Idea
For an individual who has come up a carbon-saving idea that has already been put into practice or is still in the pipeline
Best Earth Saving Idea
For an individual whose products or initiatives are putting the health of the planet first
Business Person of the Year
An award for the person who has taken steps to deliver goods or services in a sustainability-orientated way, demonstrating that financial profit can go hand in hand with respect for people and the planet.
Campaigner of the Year
For someone who has made a serious impact in putting green issues on the national or international agenda.
Arts & Music
For individuals who have used any form of creativity to raise awareness on environmental issues. It is also for those that have adopted sustainable or ethical practices in producing their art.
Community Award
For people who actively promote sustainable activities in their communities from allotment societies to clothe swapping events.
Public Sector Award
For a local or national public sector worker whose work has helped advance sustainable living
Entrepreneur of the Year
For someone who has come up with the best new enterprise, venture or idea based on green thinking
Sustainability in Sport
For individuals who have helped make sports clubs more sustainable or have used their sporting skills to promote ethical practice
Responsible Travel
For someone who has promoted green travel by making their own travels more sustainable or even starting their own green travel business
